CERC Short Courses & Briefings

CERC's Short Courses for 2006 are now complete. Short courses will be offered in 2007 and information concerning them will be offered on this website in due course.

About CERC short courses and briefings

CERC's network of scholars offer a broad range of knowledge and analysis about many aspects of European politics, economics and society. This includes coverage of the countries of the European Union as well as of Russia and many other states formerly part of the Soviet Union. Operating within the principles of the University's committment to knowledge transfer CERC periodically offers short courses and briefings to other sections of the community.

These formal short courses are of varying duration and aim to provide valuable introductions, or background, to aspects of European affairs. Briefings on specific events, and briefings tailor-made to specific needs of business, government or professional groups are also available. All of these sessions are run by experts in their field, co-ordinated by CERC and provided at reasonable rates.

Enquiries about sessions to meet a specific need can be made to CERC's Centre Manager.

Most recent short courses run by CERC were:

"Everything you ever wanted to know about the European Union, but were afraid to ask" and "Australia & the European Superpower"
